2011 BEAST Registration

Registration for BEAST is by individual, which allows racers to sign up and pay for multiple events at once but race with different people and form teams closer to event day. If you are on a team, then list your teammates names, your team name and your team's competition category (for example, "solo woman", "2-man", "3-coed 45+" or "Lotto") with your registration information. Racer information must be submitted for each person entering.

Early entry - by 7 days before the race - $40
Regular entry - by 2 days before the race - $45
On-site entry - less than 2 days before race or at check-in - $50

Fall BEAST registration fees (per person):

Early entry - until Nov. 15 - $60
Regular entry - until Nov. 17 - $70
On-site entry - $90

Cascade Orienteering Club  members receive a $5 discount off the Early Entry fee.  The discount is not available with online registration and does not apply to Fall BEAST.  Please use the Early Entry download form and mail to MerGeo.   Details in the next section.

Cascade Orienteering Club members may pre-register for a single race for $35 each up to the Early Entry deadline.  We'll accept up to four COC Volunteer Appreciation Coupons at a value of $5 each towards the $35 entry fee.  This offer does not include Fall BEAST. Please use the Early Entry  download form and send any coupons you wish to use along with a check for the balance.  This discount is only available using the Early Entry download form and mailing to MerGeo, postmarked by the Early Entry deadline.

Register for more than one race

Every year we offer 3 and 4 Race Passes for the season. Check back in 2012 for next year's Race Passes to take advantage of the package discount.

Shirts and Hats

The BEAST technical running shirts and hats are in stock and will be available at each race for 3- and 4- Race Pass holders and for purchase for just $20 each.

Cancellation and refund policies

• If a registered participant does not participate, that person will receive a credit toward a future event of their entry fee, less an administrative fee of 25% ($15 minimum fee).
• If MerGeo has to cancel the event, then participants will be offered their choice of a full refund of entry fee (does not include processing fee paid to Active.com for online registration) or credit toward a future MerGeo event. In some cases of cancellation, we may be able to offer a course at an alternate venue, however this option will not preclude the choice to receive a refund.
• If the event must be cancelled due to natural disaster, then participants will be offered their choice of a 65% refund or a credit of 75% of their entry fees toward a future MerGeo event.
• No refunds will be given as a result of course modifications made at the discretion of the organizers or landowners due to conditions of the terrain or weather.
